Suzuki Hayabusa, which can reach up to 312 kilometers on two wheels, protects its title of the fastest motorcycle in the world since the first day it was released. But the thing that makes it different is not its gorgeous speed but it’s one of the safest motorcycles at the same time… In 2013 model of Hayabusa on which any changes were not made since 2008, safety moves up to much higher level.

The first thing to be said for Suzuki Hayabusa is that it’s definitely not suitable for the ordinary motorcycle riders… When its incredible performance values considered, it’s not that difficult to say Hayabusa is only suitable for serious and professional sport motorcycle riders. If you think that you can control this two-wheel beast, with its matchless power, sharp handling and superior aerodynamic characteristics, Hayabusa will give you a riding experience you will never forget.
Its unique aerodynamic designed to overcome the wind, incredible leaps and flawless handling, bring Hayabusa, which has 1340 cm3 engine volume, to the position of one of the legendary models of its class.

YOU ARE SAFE EVEN WHEN YOU RACE WITH THE WIND!
Hayabusa, the fastest motorcycle in the world, also has pretty satisfying features in the scope of safety. Today, there are many motorcycle brands in the world whose numbers increase day by day and we, the motorcycle enthusiasts, as a general mistake, mostly pay attention to only its cylinder volume, speed, color, design and price while we are choosing motorcycle. Keep in mind that one of the most important characteristics of a motorcycle is its safety. With its superior aerodynamics, flawless handling, balanced riding and artistic brake system, Hayabusa gives you an extremely safe riding experience despite of the fact that it’s the fastest motorcycle in the world.

THE FASTEST MOTORCYCLE IN THE WORLD
Hayabusa (GSX1300R) is a sport motorcycle produced for the first time in 1999 by Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki. Hayabusa, which was welcomed with great interest since the first moment it was released to the market, captured the title of fastest motorcycle in the world in a short period of time with its maximum speed of 312 km/h. This speed lays bare what Suzuki aimed while manufacturing Hayabusa.
Shortly before the release of Hayabusa, fastest motorcycle in the world title was possessed by Honda’s super motorcycle, nicknamed ‘Black Bird’, Honda CBR 1100 XX. Designed to run against CBR 1100 and taken its name from ‘peregrine falcon’ which is a predator bird hunting black birds by diving with the speed of 320 km/h, Hayabusa has undoubtedly made the best of its name achieving its goal.

2008 HAYABUSA
Hayabusa which has almost perfect design and performance, continued to be produced without any changes until 2008. In 2008, small changes were made on the designs of all GSX 1300 R Hayabusa models. With the change of the engine heads, pistons and exhaust system, Hayabusa had more different sound and performance. Power of the engine was increased 12 percent and reached to 194 HP.
We can say that it’s one of the important reasons of these changes that the Super Sport market has hot up with the release of the models such as BMW K1200S, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14.
From 2008 until 2013 we’re in, Suzuki Hayabusa has almost never been developed and most of the changes made during that period were cosmetic changes oriented to the external look of the engine. Of course, it’s not easy to do some changes and make a number of developments in a big and powerful motorcycle like Hayabusa but it’s very clear that Suzuki has decided to make Hayabusa a safer motorcycle in 2013 model by improving its ABS brake system and changing the front calipers with high performance Brembo monoblock calipers.
